Travel Bug is close to where the bus drops you off from Taitung and is conveniently located. There is a big common space to be social, and the vibe encourages you to talk to each other. Really nice and friendly staff

This hostel is everything you can ask for when you are traveling. The hostel is almost right next to the bus stop. It is super convenient and quite easy to find. The staffs are all very nice and friendly. They all speak English. Some of them might not be as fluent in English but good enough for basic communication. I got the double room with private bathroom and it was spacious and comfortable. All and all, I would come back to stay here next time I visit Dulan

The manager Nick truly went above and beyond. He sent us a message with recommendations right as we arrived and he was always available when we had questions. He helped us rent bikes, book a surfing lesson and find the right bus to the harbour. The place itself is really well decorated, laid-back and comfortable. The double room we stayed in was the nicest room during our trip so far. Overall, we would gladly stay again at the Travel Bug!

Welcoming and with everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast included with fruit, bread, coffee, oatmeal... perfect value for money whether you stay for a short or long stay. Nice vibes in the common area, 2 lovely cats living there and some nice dogs who visit sometimes haha Beach, mountains, convenient stores, coffeeshops, bars and restaurants around. Perfect

this is such an incredibly cool and welcoming hostel. it’s relaxed yet fun, the facilities are super cozy and decorated with so much taste. it’s spacious, there’s even a free breakfast, yoga equipment and an awesome outdoor sitting space. you just feel at home instantly. the staff are fantastic and unbelievably helpful. truly a gem ❤️

This is a spacious hostel with a large sitting room upstairs and plenty of large bathrooms. The female dormitory has a dedicated bathroom, and breakfast is great (bread with hummus, peanut butter, chocolate and coconut spreads, pineapple, coffee). The kitchen is fully equipped and there are a few stores close by that sell vegetables. The space is clean, the internet is reliable, and the location is amazing - a short walk away from the beach, next to the sugar factory, and a few doors down from the bus stop.

Amazing place to chill and socialize. The common areas have everything you need, and it's so well decorated. It's clean and spacious. Free and delicious breakfast. Bonus: 2 cats. The owner is super friendly as well as the volunteers. Great location in little Dulan, next to the 7-eleven, 10-15min walk to the beach. 👌

The atmosphere was great. The hostel was very clean. The manager helps you with everything you need. The breakfast was nice with some bread and fruits and great chocolade paste. Just 15 minute walk from the sea.

It's easy to reach by bus. It's a great place for musician since there are plenty of musical instruments available to use. The staff is helpful and can speak English fluently.

Nick was amazing, as well as all of the other staff, even Anna :) Great music, great vibes. This is the number one spot I would like to return to in Taiwan. I had fun surfing, and the trip to the canyon was great as well.
